Lucy Hale and Freddie Stroma team up in the direct-to-video romantic comedy A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song. In the thematic sequel to A Cinderella Story (2004) and Another Cinderella Story (2008), 17-year-old Katie is the modern day Cinderella. Vocally gifted, she dreams of becoming a recording artist, but is constantly thwarted by her wicked stepmother. Afraid of being put back in foster care, she does her stepmother and step-sibilings’ bidding until she falls hard for the new boy Luke Morgan at her Performing Arts school. When her stepsister Beverly van Ravensway takes credit for her singing to lure Luke into her arms and to steal a recording contract from Massive Records, Katie must learn to stand up against her step-family and fight for her dreams.
