About Me

I am a stay at home Mom. I have been happily married for 22 years now. We have a four and a half year old. I learned that I am Gluten Intolerant about two years ago. I am also very sensitive to sugars and dairy products. I love to share my experiences with others in the hope that it will help someone else. I also have another blog, called "Mom's Misc. Adventures". It is where I like to have reviews, giveaways and share useful information. And to have fun.

How did your blog's name come to be?

Well, when I was trying to think up a name for my blog, I had already had Misc. in my URL. So I tried to think of something that would go with it.

And I wanted to say something about it being a Mom Blog.

So I ended up with Mom's Misc. Adventures. Sounds very Adventurous doesn't it? I love the name.

What inspired you to start blogging?
I had a blog for awhile but it wasn't public. When I went to visit my sister, I met her friend who who has a site about Hawaii travel. She told me how well she does. I was hooked. I started my gluten-free blog in Dec. 09, Lisa's Gluten-Free Advice and Healthy Living. Then I got to thinking that I wanted to blog about other things as well, so I started Mom's Misc. Adventures. I love blogging now and I have enjoyed meeting other bloggers.

What do you think sets your blog apart from others? I am a Christian blogging Mom who loves to share useful information and to have fun. I love to do reviews and giveaways. I have a "Blog of the Week" every Tuesday and I have a Giveaway Linky every Thursday. I have a list of other giveaway linkys as well. I have just created "The 100 Blogs and Websites Directory".

What inspires you to blog?

I love to share my experiences with others in the hope that it will help someone else and I just love to blog.

Can you tell us a little about your writing process?

I write about what comes to my mind.

Apart from blogging, what do you like to do?

I have been a Christian every since I was a little girl.
I am a stay a home Mom who loves taking care of my son, husband, pets and house.

My interests are: walking, swimming, I love to walk on the beach. I love to do crafts, Sewing, and Crochet.
I am into Creation Science. I love to watch a good movie. Music moves my soul, I love my iPod.

How do you find time to blog?

I am a stay at home Mom of a 4 1/2 year old, so I plenty of time to blog. Though my son is a very busy guy, he keeps me busy.

What is your greatest accomplishment in life thus far? Being married to such a wonderful man and having our son after 17 years of marriage. My husband and will be married 22 years in July.

Where do you see yourself in 10-years? Still being a stay at home mom. My son will be 14 years old then, wow what a thought. He will be in High School. Hopefully we will be in our dream house by then.

Do you have children, if so how many?

My husband and I have one son who is now 4 1/2. He is our miracle baby.
