Blog of the Week June 29

This week I want to introduce you to a good blogging friend of mine.

I have been following her blog for awhile now and she has some great things on her site. She blogs about being a stay at home mom, being gluten-free and she loves to do reviews and giveaways. She has helped me out a couple of times with some questions that I had and she was very helpful. She is such a sweet and wonderful person. Check out her blog and follow her on twitter and facebook.

1. Please tell me a little about yourself.
I'm a thirty something, saved by God's grace, SAHM, and prefer to call myself a Domestic Engineer. I've been married for over 19 years to my best friend and love of my life. We are EXTREMELY proud of our two beautiful girls who are 17 and 18. We have home schooled them both all the way through and our oldest just graduated this year. We live in the beautiful Sunshine state and can drive to either Daytona Speedway or Disney World on a whim if we wanted to.

I love being a Domestic Engineer but never claim to be perfect at it. I do love to be a 'keeper of the home' which includes cooking, decorating, and yes even cleaning. As I say on my blog..There's Jelly in the Peanut Butter, Dust Bunnies under the couch, and probably some king of Gluten Free recipe burning in the oven.. but I love my life.

 2. What leads you to blog and how long have you been blogging?
I started blogging over 6 years ago. It was a way to journal about our home school adventures also a great way to keep in touch with family. Now a days I just enjoy being me. Sharing about some of our family adventures and doing product reviews of all different types.

3. What is your blog about?
I think I answered this in question 2

4. Do you have any other blogs you author? Please tell me about them.
Nope

5. Anything else you would like to share with me?

Can't think of anything.. LOL. Sorry I'm not more interesting.. ROFL..

Bloggers Connection

Let's Just Give It Away

I just joined Bloggers Connection.

What is Bloggers Connection?

The world of bloggers in continually growing. There are tons of newbie bloggers searching for information and more experienced bloggers who could offer a little advice about what they have learned along the way. I am starting up Bloggers Connection as a way to help bloggers connect with other bloggers, to help grow their blog, ask or answer questions or concern they or others may have, increase traffic, gain new friends, etc. I will be pairing up bloggers in small groups of about four per group. You may get paired up with bloggers who are more or less advanced than you so you can all help each other out. You will be able to communicate via email or in the discussion area and share and exchange ideas on how to improve your blogging experience.

Here are a few suggestions on how your group can get started:
*Swap buttons
*Post a blog post and link to a fellow bloggers
*Swap guest post
*Interview each other
*If you have giveaway offer an extra entry for entering each other giveaways
*Start a shared meme
*Follow, subscribe, etc. to each other blogs
*Discuss idea on how to gain followers, etc.

Please check out the blogs in my group.

Tooth Soap Giveaway Winner

Photobucket

Congratulations to my Winner for The Tooth Soap Giveaway.

And the Winner is: # 19 Robin from Toxic Beauty Blog.
I am so excited for you Robin. I will be contacting you for your shipping information.

Robin has won a bottle of Tooth Soap, a Tooth Brightener and a Teeth Swish.

I just did an interview of Robin's blog this past week on my Blog of the Week.

I used Random to help determine the winner.

Tooth Soap now has a new blog link, so please check it out. And add Tooth Soap Blog
to your blog roll.

To order Tooth Soap just click on this link, Tooth Soap.

I had the wonderful opportunity to try out Tooth Soap.

I have been hearing so much about this wonderful product, that I contacted Tooth Soap and they sent me bottle of their Tooth Soap to try out.

Let me tell you that if you don't try anything else this year, this is the one to try out. An outstanding product. This product gets my highest recommendation.

On the very first tooth brushing I felt the difference. My teeth are so clean, I could not believe it. After a few weeks of trying it out, my teeth have never been cleaner and brighter. I have very sensitive gums and Tooth Soap doesn't bother my gums at all, in fact my gums no longer feel sensitive. I was using Sensodyne Toothpaste for years. I had looked up Gluten Free Drugs and it said that all Sensodyne Toothpaste contains Gluten. I had asked Tooth Soap if it contains Gluten and they said no, it is Gluten-Free.  I never want to go back to toothpaste, my teeth have never felt so clean. One bottle of Tooth Soap will last me a very long time, it only takes a few drops to brush your teeth. And it has a great taste.

Here is what Tooth Soap says about it's product.

Tooth Soap is packed in natural amber glass bottles to keep all light from damaging the sensitive essential oils. Tooth Soap tastes best if used within 3 months of opening the bottle. All batches of soap are made small to ensure you are getting a fresh product. One bottle lasts 4-6 weeks.

• Patent Pending, 100% all natural soap made with 70% organic ingredients
• Made with “whole foods” and high grade, therapeutic essential oils
• Cleans oils and other items off the teeth quickly leaving them perfectly clean
• Leaves teeth ready to re-mineralize from nutrients in your diet
• Non-toxic and doesn’t need a warning label
• Not tested on animals
• Made in the USA / Product of America
• Certified Kosher by Star-K

The first step to saving your teeth is to stop using ALL toothpaste, whether or not it contains fluoride. That goes for the “natural” tooth pastes and the gels or rinses that you are using as well. Natural tooth pastes have glycerin as one of the main ingredients and glycerin coats the teeth and prevents re-enamelization.

If you check all your dental products, you will find glycerin is a main ingredient in them. You will also find that most tooth pastes and gels contain SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) which has been shown in studies to cause canker sores. You must stop using all tooth pastes with glycerin and/or fluoride and other contaminating ingredients.

Dr. Gerard F. Judd, PhD, cancer and fluoride researcher and author of, Good Teeth From Birth to Death, states: "The soap-cleaned teeth will REmineralize better and build more perfectly. It is a given in making crystals in the laboratory that the solution they are made from must be free of all undesirable impurities, to get the beautiful perfect facets."

Research proves pure soap is the best product you can use to improve and maintain optimum dental health. What's more, unlike pure soap, every day oral care products contain highly undesirable chemicals such as fluoride, added sticky glycerin, dyes and even artificial flavors and sweeteners. All that can't be good for your teeth, and it isn't. See what dentists have to say about Tooth Soap.

Tooth Soap cleans teeth and gums perfectly! We guarantee you will feel a difference after the first brushing! Tooth Soap removes oils and other contaminants from the teeth and cleans gum tissue thoroughly.

We have great products and we’re sure you’ll be happy that you got them. In fact, we guarantee your satisfaction with our 90 day no-hassle, no-questions-asked, 100% product refund policy as described on our website.

Tooth Soap comes in many flavors, they even have Tooth Soap for Pets. They also have lots of other products. You can order Tooth Soap on their website, Tooth Soap.

Thank-you so much everyone for entering my Tooth Soap Giveaway.

It was a very fun giveaway for me and I really do love this product.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day.

Have a great week.

Blog of the Week June 15

This week I am very proud to introduce to you Robin from Toxic Beauty. Go Green with your beauty routine.  I have really enjoyed checking her blog out. She has lots of great tips for using natural organic beauty products. She has videos of herself showing off some great products. And she even has giveaways, yeah. You know how much I love giveaways. So check out her blog. Follow Robin on her Twitter and Facebook.

1. Please tell me a little about yourself.
I am teacher and eco-beauty blogger. I am dedicated to helping women go green with their beauty routine and make safer cosmetic choices. I am committed to finding the best organic and natural beauty products for my readers. My wish is for everyone to become more knowledgeable about their beauty products so they can avoid toxic cosmetics.

2. What leads you to blog and how long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging for over a year. Since my own mother died of cancer a few years ago, it led me to suspect the cause may have been based on her personal care product choices. After doing more research, I discovered the dangers of using toxic beauty products and cosmetics and want to share this information with the world.

3. What is your blog about?
Toxic Beauty Blog is based around uncovering the many toxic ingredients being used in cosmetics today and the diseases and risks they are linked to.  There are much safer and more effective choices available and Toxic Beauty Blog reviews and has giveaways for organic and natural cosmetic products. In addition to articles, Toxic Beauty Blog also provides videos, ebooks, and free content for readers, including a newsletter.

4. Do you have any other blogs you author? Please tell me about them.
I also author 3 other blogs, 2 of which are in the natural beauty realm. http://naturalbeautyra.info is a blog for the Aubrey Organics cosmetic line and has product reviews and sales. http://myorganicacne.com details holistic solutions for curing acne. http://teachingeasyas123.com is a blog for teachers and parents giving tips and tricks for helping students in class.

5. Anything else you would like to share with me ?
I  hope to make a difference with women and help them make better beauty choices. Beauty doesn't have to have a cost! I have a free ebook available on Toxic Beauty Blog, Beautify Naturally: 10 Nontoxic Ways to a Beautiful You. This ebook is a must have guide to natural beauty and has great tips for moisturizing skin, anti-aging techniques, natural methods for dealing with acne, and more.  It can be downloaded free at http://www.toxicbeautyblog.com/nontoxicbeautytips.html. You can also sign up for the new Toxic Beauty Blog newsletter for the latest updates, ingredient alerts, products of the month and special promotions. I am also currently working on my upcoming ebook, Saving Face: Exposing Toxic Cosmetics...so look for it!

Thank-you Robin for sharing your wonderful blog with us.

Blog of the Week June 8

This week's Blog of the Week is Olivia from Of Such is the Kingdom.
Olivia has a wonderful Christian blog about parenting. I encourage you to check out her blog.

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a Christian, a philosopher, a dreamer, a dancer, a wife, and a momma. I love to read, to jog, to be with my hubby, and to eat chocolate cake. I am learning how to give myself (and others) more grace and how to let the little things in life go--to prioritize correctly. These will be my life lessons!
I am also a teacher; I taught for several summers and a year in China as well as teaching every age group in the states. I've taught everything from middle school in the inner city to one-room school-house type classes to very young mommas at a Crisis Pregnancy Center. I love to teach!
Right now my daily life is about cooking for kids, entertaining kids (or teaching them to entertain themselves), cleaning house, building community among my friends and neighbors, blogging, and writing curriculum for various organizations.

2. What leads you to blog and how long have you been blogging?
I love to write and I would love to turn my love into something that produces a little income for our family (maybe someday!) I also love the blogging community--it makes me a better momma to read other momma's blogs and to blog my own momma exploits.

3. What is your blog about?
My blog is to help parents really enjoy the adventure of parenting. Of Such is the Kingdom is all about crafts, activities, recipes, books, and ideas that inspire and encourage parents.

4. Do you have any other blogs you author? Please tell us about them.
Of Such is the KIngdom is my only public blog at this time.

5. Anything else you would like to share with us?
"Of Such is the Kingdom" is from that verse in the Bible where Jesus says, "Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God." Parents often either get discouraged because they feel like parenting is much too big a task or they get bored because they feel like parenting is such a tiny part of the big Kingdom work. The foundational idea behind Of Such is the Kingdom is that neither of these is true. Parenting is a task for which God provides the Holy Spirit's help and a task that is HUGE in the Kingdom of heaven. This daily grind--this changing diapers and cooking dinner and cleaning house and kissing boo boos and singing to sleep--these are the adventures that our Father has given us; they are our Kingdom work.

Blog: OF Such is the Kingdom
