"Who is Simon Miller?" Movie Review

Enjoy a "Family Movie Night" with the movie, "Who is Simon Miller?" It will be on TV tomorrow night, Saturday, August 6 at 8/7c on NBC.

When the discrete geologist Simon Miller mysteriously disappears one night, the family is thrown into a desperate search to find him. Simon's wife, Meredith and their two children, Sarah, 18, and Kevin, 15 research Simon's office frantically for information. When they find a stash of passports, all with the image of Simon, but each with a different alias. They realize that their father has kept more than a few secrets. Who is Simon Miller? And what has he gotten himself and and his family into? Not sure they can even trust the parent they thought they knew, the Millers participate in an international mission to retrieve it. This is an exciting adventure that tests to which the family to fight for other each other.

I had the opportunity to screen this movie and I found it to be an exciting and thrilling ride. The teenagers in the movie are very intelligent, but I liked that it was not at the expense of adults. The actions were all well played and the suspense was a non-stop. Who are the "good guys" and who are the bad guys, you will have to watch it to find out. I just love spy movies, the trill of it all to travel abroad and save lives. I highly recommend this for the whole family to see. I give "Who is Simon Miller?" 4 stars out of 5.

We needed a bicycle trailer to run my son back and forth to preschool and this fits us perfectly. It was really easy to put together. It is big enough to fit my son. I love that it has a storage space in the back for my son's backpack. It is so much fun for my son and I to run him back and fourth to school. When we hit a bump, my son says whoa, so funny. It it is strong and sturdy and I can see using it for a long time. I give this bicycle trailer 5 stars out of 5. A truly excellent product.

SodaStream Review

I had the opportunity to review the SodaStream. SodaStream sent me their SodaStream with a carbonator, 2 PBA-Free high pressure resistant bottles, soda flavors and flavored water. This was such a fun review for my family and I to try out.

Making carbonated water and soft drinks is simple. Turn tap water into sparkling water in under 30 seconds, with no clean-up. Enjoy the freshness and convenience of homemade soda and protect the environment at the same time. No heavy bottles to carry, store at home or throw away. Fizz to your taste and add the flavor of your choice to make your favorite drink. Simple to clean and reuse. With a variety of colors and silhouettes, you'll be sure to find a soda maker to match with any decor.

Using the SodaStream is very simple. The main device is a CO2 container that forces the gas into the ready to use liter bottle. Just press the top button until you hear 3 buzzes. Then unscrew it and add one of many soda and flavored water concentrates. The flavors taste very good. I tried diet lemon lime, coke, orange, energy, and root beer. They all tasted great, my favorites are the root beer, diet lemon lime and lemon lime flavored water. Then just throw it in the fridge and use it like any other liter bottle. After you’re done, wash it out the bottle and reuse.

I absolutely The SodaStream. It is so simple to use and tastes great. I love that the flavors are made from all-natural ingredients, it contains no artificial flavors, no artificial colors and no artificial sweeteners, and do not contain any preservatives. And I love that you can reuse the bottles over and over again. I would recommend this machine to everyone. I give the SodaStream 5 stars out of 5.

Change of Plans Movie Review

The "Change of Plans" movie, which is being sponsored by P&G and Walmart will be showing on Fox TV on Saturday, January 8, at 8/7pm CST.

Up to this point, Sally Danville's life has played out just as she hoped it would. A beautiful and free-spirited musician, she and her fighter-pilot husband, Jason, live life on the go, free of domestic responsibilities. But with a single phone call from Child & Family Services case worker, Dorothy (Phylicia Rashad, The Cosby Show), she learns that things don't always go according to plan. Sally (Brooke White, American Idol) is met with the news that her best friend from college has died in a tragic accident on a Peace Corps mission and has named Sally the legal guardian of her four kids - 3 of them adopted from third-world countries. Now Sally and Jason (Joe Flanigan, Stargate Atlantis) must quickly learn to parent this instant family and help the kids deal with the culture clash of life in America. The story is both humorous and heartwarming, revealing how fulfilling life can be when you look beyond your own plans and invest in the lives of others.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. It is a good clean movie for the whole family to watch. The actors did a really good job and the music was wonderful, Brooke White is singing in the movie. The movie was engaging and fun to watch. It just goes to show you how important family is, even if your children are adopted, Love is what matters. I highly recommend you watch this movie. I give "Change of Plans" 4 stars out of 5. It is defiantly worth watching, so don't miss it.

In February you will be able to purchase the DVD which will be bundled with the soundtrack at your local Walmart.

This dry eraser set is everything it was advertised to be with the exception it is not low order, my eyes were bothering me with the smell. Maybe it takes some using the pens to to make the order go down. My son loves the pens, he draws all kinds of things on his easel. The white board cleaner works really well on the white board side of my son's easel and the eraser works great. All in all a very good set of pens, cleaner and eraser. I give this dry eraser set 4 stars out of 5.

CSN Stores Review on Step 2 Children's Easel

I decided to review this children's easel. The Step 2 Children's Easel with Foam Magnets from CSN Stores.

CSN stores shipped me this easel within in two weeks. It came in perfect condition. I think it actually took around a week and a half to get here. We were so excited when it came. My son could not wait to open the box. My son said, look what Daddy got me. It was so cute. When I told my husband what our son said, my husband responded and said, I think it was actually Mommy who got it for him. LOL. So funny. My son loves this easel. One one side is the chalk board and on the other side is dry eraser board that is also a magnet board.
