BluApple Review and Giveaway

I had the opportunity to tryout this amazing product, BluApple. The makers of BluApple is offering to giveaway to three of my readers a two pack of the BluApple.

Ethylene gas is given off by all living plants -- and especially by fruits, vegetables and flowers -- and is a chemical signal to quickly speed up ripening. The release of this gas is thought to be a mechanism used by plants to promote the uniformity of fruit ripening or flowers opening, etc. The uniformity of these events attracts the maximum number of pollinators or seed disseminators (such as birds) when all the fruit is ripe or all the flowers are open in nature.

The Bluapple is based on technology that has been used in ships, warehouses and trucks for many years to absorb and neutralize the ethylene gas buildup. the Bluapple does not release any gas or chemical at all, but only acts as an ethylene gas super-flypaper, constantly removing this harmful gas from your produce storage area. The Bluapple is not a "magic" pill, but a scientific, essential part of keeping produce fresh.

When produce was cheap, no one cared, but as prices have risen, it became apparent that a very beneficial product for the home could make a huge difference.
There are three key elements to long produce life: a) temperature - keeping produce cold; b) humidity - using vented plastic bags to keep a moist, but not wet environment, and; c) ethylene gas management - using the Bluapple. Difficulty with any one of these elements will cause big problems with premature spoilage.

Bluapple is available nationally at retail locations such as Whole Foods Markets, Giant Foods, Stop & Shop, and many others.

I always hate it when fruits and vegetables go bad before you can use them. I have noticed that our bananas are now lasting twice as long. My son does not like to eat ugly looking bananas. The blue apple is a great help, and it doesn't take up much room in the fruit drawer. I love it, because I can just put it in the drawer and it starts to work. I think it is great that it helps keep the fruit fresh longer, a great asset for me. On the BluApple website you fill out a short form as to when you started using your BluApple, then in three months time they will e-mail you a notice that it is time to replace insert. I give the BluApple 5 stars out of 5.Now for the giveaway.

Three lucky winners will receive a two pack of the BluApple.
