Blog of the Week May 25

This week's "Blog of the Week" is Mommy's Memorandum by Julee Morrison.

Julee has created a wonderful blog. The blog is very eye appealing, fun and informative. She has lots of really great giveaways, recipes and craft ideas. Check out her blog and follow her on twitter. Here is a little information about her and her blog.

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.

In 2007 I left my job in Middle Management to be a SAHM. I have never looked back! I love being a mom and one of my favorite quality time activities with them is baking/cooking. 
 

Aside from cooking I also love to camp. It's time away from schedules and suburban life and just a time to indulge in my family and Mother Nature. I am fortunate to live in Utah where we have a diverse landscape so camping can be mountains, desert or a National Park!

I also enjoy writing, crafts, reading, vegetating in front of the television and I'm a dedicated BON JOVI fan!

2. What leads you to blog and how long have you been blogging?

I love to write. It's an outlet for me I think. I'm working on a book and blogging was sort of a "break" from writing about the same thing all the time. I have an attention span of an ant so blogging works well for me.

The written word fascinates me. There's so much one word can say. A word can be advice, emotion, praise, defeat, gratitude, hope, faith and more. It just depends on the messenger. I'm am driven to blog because of this.

I've been blogging since May 2008. I'm embarrassed to say that I really didn't do much with my blog before January 2010. I didn't really "get" it and didn't make it my "ME" time. 

3. What is your blog about?

Mommy's Memorandum is relatively diverse, like me. It's centered around giveaways, product reviews, features and the chaotic comedy I've come to call my life.

It's whatever I'm feeling or whatever I'm moved by that given moment.

4. Do you have any other blogs you author? Please tell us about them.
Nope, I can barely keep up with the ONE. 

5. Anything else you would like to share with us?

I'd love it if you stopped by. May 23-31 I'm hosting a Baby Lullaby Event and June 13-19 I'm doing a "Backyard with the Morrison's" Event. I try and do a giveaway a day...and I really love meeting new folks!
